Green peppers are on the list of safe foods for rabbits. So, can rabbits eat green peppers as part of their normal diet? Yes, they can. Peppers are fine, but even though they are a vegetable I recommend you don’t give them peppers on a regular basis, they are more of a treat.
Bunnies need plenty of Timothy hay in their diets daily to keep their digestive systems operating smoothly. They need a lot of fiber and the vitamins and nutrition from in vegetables. You should also provide good quality pellets and keep a supply of fresh water available.
Treats, such as fruits and other rich foods should only be given once a week or so and in moderation. It’s all too easy to give your pet a poorly tummy, so introduce any new foods one at a time and in small amounts.
