Growing yourself a little herb garden and wondering, can rabbits eat dill and not get sick? They can eat most herbs without any problems, and dill is defiantly one that’s fine. I know some people who give their rabbit’s access to pots of herbs growing near their hutch, it makes for a nice little treat and something different to eat.
Herbs should be treated like treats in my opinion and made available on occasion like once a week. You should be feeding your rabbit plenty of good quality Timothy hay as this is high in fiber and protein, essential elements for a healthy digestive system. Provide pellets and fresh water and you’ve got yourself a very happy and healthy bunny.
Herbs and fruits are then treats on top to spoil your beloved pets a little. If you notice they are sick or not eating anything you’re offering them stop the food right away and keep them on hay until they are back to full health.
