Can Rabbits Eat Cilantro

This is an interesting question, can rabbits eat cilantro?

I didn’t know what cilantro was until I looked it up, it’s another name for parsley, which I do know a lot about. I’ve given my rabbits a bit of parsley before as I used to grow some in my garden, they loved it and it’s fine to feed to them.

Cilantro, or parsley, is a herb. Herbs and vegetables should only be fed to bunnies in moderation they can’t handle too much of them. They will enjoy eating cilantro though, and there is some decent nutrition for them to benefit from.

A rabbit’s diet should be made up from mostly Timothy hay and pellets. This is the recommended staple of their diet to ensure they are getting enough fiber and nutrition in their diet to keep their digestive system healthy.

When introducing new vegetables into your bunnies diet always try a small sample first to see how they react. There is always a chance it will cause gas or other stomach problems, so keep a close eye and act accordingly.
