You can feed you rabbits some leafy greens and vegetables to supplement their diet and give them some variation. Root vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower is fine to give your rabbits in moderation. I just put some in their cage whenever I’m eating some myself. Always give the broccoli a good wash as there may be pesticides or other chemicals that are a lot more harmful to rabbits than humans.
So can rabbits eat broccoli every day? No, you can give them a few vegetables each day but it’s best to mix up this part of their diet to keep it interesting and vary the vitamins they are getting. You should be providing them Timothy hay daily as well as fresh water. As well as formulated pellets as per the instructions on the pack which vary depending on your breed and size of bunnies.
Rabbits are very sensitive to foods, especially foods high in starch or sugar. Always check what’s safe for them to eat before giving it to them. Try small amounts at first too and look for signs of any digestive issues such as wet poop.
